In truth, it all leads back to the media. The Army brass and the politicians who yank their chains fear unfavorable reporting from the media. And the networks ( save maybe for FOX ) would have shredded them if they had actually investigated Hasan in any meaningful way. Curiously, the Marines didn't get hammered for what they did to the Haditha Marines. I don't think this escapes any reporter, executive or anchor in the business. I don't expect any of them to admit it, either.

More: And this guy, who owes his election to the media isn't about to touch this issue with a ten foot pole. The Constitution guarantees us a free press, rightfully so. It didn't decree that we should be ruled by it, or that we should let it kill us.

Just Wondering
